百度地图

百度地图 is a map app for planning and following trips, whether you are commuting through a familiar city, heading somewhere new, or choosing between taxis, buses, trains, walking, and other ways to travel. The listing presents it as an AI-powered mapping tool, and its main functions focus on voice control, route planning, live navigation, and nearby recommendations.

Controlling the app by voice while on the move

The listing describes voice control as a central part of the app. Users can speak commands to check routes, search for locations, and ask about the weather. The wake phrase given in the description is “Xiaodu Xiaodu.” According to the listing, this lets people operate the app without handling the screen, which is useful when you are walking, driving, or otherwise busy with your hands.

Planning a trip across different transport modes

The listing says the app plans routes for taxis, driving, buses, walking, cycling, trains, and airplanes. It also mentions combined solutions that link several transport modes across the country, so a journey can use more than one kind of transport. Plans can be made up to seven days ahead. The description says the planner takes into account time priority, traffic conditions, and personal preferences, which is helpful when you are comparing options before leaving.

Following routes in traffic and on public transport

During navigation, the listing says the app shows real-time traffic conditions and suggests routes that avoid congestion. It also states that navigation continues in areas where GPS signals are weak. For public transport, the description refers to bus navigation with arrival reminders, which the listing says is available in multiple cities. These features are most relevant when you need to adjust your route as conditions change or keep track of a bus you are waiting for.

Finding places to eat, drink, and visit nearby

The app offers personalized recommendations based on individual preferences, travel time, and chosen transport modes. According to the listing, one tap can bring up nearby places to eat, drink, and enjoy. For sightseeing, the description mentions recommended travel routes, AI tour guides, and AR guides that display information over real scenes. These tools are aimed at visitors who want suggestions tailored to their trip.

Adjusting preferences for more relevant plans

The listing recommends setting your preferred transport modes, deciding whether to prioritize time or avoid congestion, and choosing routes that match your needs. Its stated purpose is to make the suggestions more accurate and better suited to your travel style. Preference settings therefore connect the planning, navigation, and recommendation features, rather than working as separate tools.

Support and the limits of the listing

The description says customer support is available if you run into problems, but it does not specify the support channels. It also describes coverage of more than 200 countries and regions and industry-leading voice technology. These are the developer's own descriptions and have not been independently verified here. The available facts are the app name, developer name, version 19.8.0, and Travel category, along with the features summarized above.
