VeteranVPN-Free over the wall. Better than is a Tools app listed as a free VPN service. Its description says it can be used to reach websites and apps that are blocked or censored, and to keep in touch with friends in other countries through popular social media platforms.

Reaching websites and apps that are blocked

According to the listing, the main purpose of the app is to give access to websites and apps that users cannot open directly. The description attributes these restrictions to censorship imposed by the CCP. The listing does not explain how the connection works technically, so the full range of content that can be reached is not confirmed in this profile.

Connecting with friends abroad on social media

The listing mentions communicating with international friends on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. It also says users can watch movies together with friends in other countries. These are the uses the description names, and the listing does not state how the app performs on each platform.

Playing games with friends in other countries

The description gives Pokemon Go as an example of a game users might play with friends from around the world. The listing does not say whether this works with every game or every region.

Setting up the connection

The description says setup involves a short tutorial that users follow before connecting to the virtual private network. No further setup steps, supported Android versions, or device requirements are given in the source, so these details are not included here.

Performance statements and missing details

The listing says the service offers faster and more stable connections than other VPN accelerators and an improved browsing experience. These are the developer's own descriptions and have not been independently tested for this profile. The source describes the service as free but gives no further pricing details, in-app purchase information, or advertising information.
