Evangelho Diário

Evangelho Diário provides daily Gospel readings for people who want to read and share the words of Jesus in Portuguese. Its content is tailored for users in Brazil and combines Gospel access with information about saints and the liturgical calendar.

Daily and historical Gospel readings

The app presents the Gospel for the day, giving users a dedicated place to read the day’s message. It also includes a historical Gospel function for checking which Gospel was presented on a specific date in the past, including the corresponding date from the previous year. This supports both regular daily reading and looking back at earlier entries.

Sharing Gospel passages

Evangelho Diário includes a sharing feature for sending the Gospel to friends and loved ones. This makes the selected reading available beyond the individual app view and supports sharing the message with other people.

Saint of the day

Alongside the Gospel reading, the app introduces a different saint each day. The available information covers the saint’s life and achievements, giving users material connected with the day’s spiritual theme.

Liturgical colors and Portuguese content

The app indicates the liturgical color for each day, helping users consult this part of church tradition alongside the daily reading. All app content is described as being in Portuguese, specifically adapted for users in Brazil.
