Hoichoi

Hoichoi is a video streaming app for Bengali films and series, with a catalogue that also includes shorts and documentaries. Its listed features cover online viewing, offline downloads, watchlists, subtitles and streaming on multiple types of devices.

What kinds of Bengali content can you watch?

The app includes Bengali films from different genres, classic movies, detective stories and original web series. The source describes a collection of more than 600 movies and 135-plus original series, as well as shorts and documentaries. These figures describe the catalogue in the listing and are not a guarantee that every title will be available in every region or at all times.

Examples named in the listing include the series Byomkesh, Feludar Goyendagiri, Srikanto, Noshtoneer, Indubala Bhaater Hotel and Eken Babu. It also names Bangladeshi series such as Karagar, Mohanagar, Taqdeer and Kaiser, alongside films by Bengali actors and directors. These examples give a sense of the range, rather than an exhaustive catalogue.

Can you save films or series for offline viewing?

Hoichoi supports downloading Bengali movies and web series for offline viewing. This is relevant when you want to watch saved content without streaming it at that moment. The source does not specify how long downloads remain available or whether every title can be downloaded.

A watchlist provides another way to keep track of movies and shows for later viewing. The app also offers English and Bengali subtitles for content, according to the listing, so viewers can use subtitles while watching supported titles.

Which devices and viewing features are listed?

The app is described as available across phones, tablets, laptops and Smart TVs. The source also names Chromecast support and availability on Android TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, LG TV, Samsung and Mi TV, as well as the Hoichoi website. These are the platforms listed in the source; they do not establish that every device model or service is compatible.

For streaming, the listing specifies Full HD viewing and Dolby Atmos sound. These formats are presented as platform features, but the source does not detail the device, title or connection requirements for using them.

What language options are available?

Hoichoi's interface is described as available in English and Bengali. English and Bengali subtitles are also listed for viewing content. The source does not give a title-by-title breakdown of available audio or subtitle options, so availability may depend on the specific movie or series.
