SEITHI Mediacorp

SEITHI Mediacorp is a Tamil-language news app covering breaking news, business, sport and other topics for readers seeking updates and features related to the Tamil-speaking community. Alongside current affairs, it includes lifestyle content, explanations of Tamil words appearing in headlines, and live radio from Mediacorp’s Oli 96.8FM.

News across several topics

The app covers breaking news, business and sport, with additional reporting and features on technology and culture. This range gives readers a place to explore both current events and subjects beyond the daily news. The source describes its coverage as relevant to the Indian community, including trends and topics of interest to that audience.

Lifestyle features and movie reviews

Lifestyle content includes movie reviews, health and wellness information, and updates on technology and culture. The reviews offer discussion of films, while the health and wellness section provides tips and information about balanced living. These features sit alongside the app’s news coverage rather than replacing its focus on current topics.

Tamil word explanations

A Word of the Day section explains Tamil words that are appearing in the news. It connects vocabulary learning with the language used in current headlines, giving readers explanations of selected words. The supplied description does not specify user controls or a learning programme beyond this feature.

Live Oli 96.8FM radio

SEITHI Mediacorp also provides live radio from Mediacorp’s Oli 96.8FM. The station’s programming includes Tamil music and entertainment, complementing the written news and features with a live audio option.
