Power VPN - Fast & Free Hotspot Proxy

Power VPN - Fast & Free Hotspot Proxy connects an Android device to a VPN for browsing, including on public Wi-Fi networks. Its documented privacy features are traffic encryption and IP address masking, while its server locations offer a way to try accessing apps and websites that may be blocked in a particular location.

Connecting and choosing a location

The app describes a one-click connection to its VPN network. It also offers servers in countries around the world, giving users a choice of location when they connect. That choice is relevant when trying to reach content affected by geographic restrictions. The supplied guidance suggests choosing a nearby server when connection speed is the priority, but it does not specify available countries or promise a particular speed.

Browsing on public Wi-Fi

Power VPN - Fast & Free Hotspot Proxy is presented as a tool to enable before browsing on public Wi-Fi. It is described as encrypting traffic and hiding the user's IP address during the VPN connection. These features explain its privacy purpose without establishing that every activity is anonymous or that every blocked service will be accessible.
